We are currently working on our Teacher Appreciation Project that is held each year to honor the teachers of Pamlico County Schools. Teacher Appreciation Month is during the month of April and our Grand Celebration reception for teachers and contributors will be on May 7th this year. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize and support our teachers for the great job they are doing for the children of Pamlico County. Plans are underway to make this year's Teacher Appreciation Project the best one yet!
We would like to invite you to become a part of the worthwhile project by asking you to make a donation of your choice. Each teacher receives a goody bag filled with fabulous items such as gift cards, coupons, etc. We have 180 teachers and would welcome items for our bags. We also take cash donations to help purchase items for the bags and to purchase items for the GRAND DRAWINGS! Last year we had donations of "weekend stays", furniture items, jewelry, CASH, lots of restaurant gift certificates, koozies, pens, pencils, a hammock, lawn furniture, just to name a few.
